Just Add Ink #697...Sketch!

Good Morning friends!

Our challenge this week over at Just Add Ink  is from Di and she has provided a great sketch for us to create with!

My project for this one uses the lovely "Simply Zinnia" bundle and it is so pretty. I love a good colouring set and the images in this one were perfect for digging out my Stampin Blends.

The top bloom was coloured in Flirty Flamingo & the bottom two are a gorgeous NEW returning colour, "Pretty in Pink"...Kinda hard to pick the difference, but they compliment beautifully.
Leaves/foliage are Old Olive.
Cardstock & sentiment ink are another NEW colour...Summer Splash! LOVE this one so much!

Panel and frame were created using the Deckled Rectangles and l've added some Linen Thread & Rainbow Dots to finish.

Lots of fabulous sketch inspo from the team, so click the link for a peek at those if you haven't already.

Colour INKspiration #163

Evening all!

It's time for a brand new Colour INKspiration  challenge and this one is from Monica...Bold, bright and fun to create with!

I decided to ink up the fun "Hot Air Balloon" bundle for this one, as thought the colours worked perfectly, although l'm not sure what's going on with my camera, as they seem a little washed out and not true to the project colour.

I used the Coastal Cabana and blending brushes to create a soft sky effect and the balloons are first & second generation stamping in Gorgeous Grape & Crushed Curry, the middle one is the Starry Sky. All of the balloon bottoms are in Poppy Parade.

To finish off, l've added some of the Purple Fine shimmer dots & black & white thread. I've kept the design simple, letting the bold colours be the focus.

Just Add Ink #695...Add Chocolate!

Happy Easter Friends!

This weeks very apt challenge over at Just Add Ink is from Kerry and is "ALL things Chocolate!

Not having much in the way of chocolate images etc, l went with some little gift tags for table decor Bunnies, using the Easter Bunny bundle and a mix of current-retired & generic brand leftover bits and pieces.

Very simple, but adds a little something to these cadbury bunnies/gifts that will double as name places on the Easter lunch table.

Short and sweet from me this week, as l've just realised l have much to do! So a very happy Easter to you all whatever that may entail!

Lots of fab choc projects from the design team, so don't forget to click the link for lots of inspo!

Colour INKspiration #162

Evening all!

It's Colour INKspiration  challenge time and this week Rose has given us some lovely softer shades to create with.

I have created a simple fun fold project using the pretty Everyday Details bundle. Images were coloured with Stampin Blends (and yes the foliage is Early Espresso inkpad and blender pen) even though it looks greenish in tone.

Dsp is from the Poetic Expressions pack and the sentiment is from the Stippled Roses stamp set.

It's a quick and simple fold and is perfect for adding a detailed belly band and to finish off l have added some of the teeny Blooming Pearls.
